TOM PETTY ‘REFUGEE 45’: AN EVENING OF MUSIC CELEBRATING THE SONGS OF TOM PETTY ALONGSIDE OTHER CLASSICS AND MUSIC FROM JEFF SLATE’S ILLUSTRIOUS CAREER
It’s been 45 years since Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers’ “Refugee” was released, and made Petty and his band superstars. To mark this remarkable occasion, Jeff Slate & Friends will pay tribute to the song and Petty’s illustrious catalog at Café Wha? on Wednesday, June 18th. Doors will be at 5pm, and the show begins at 6pm. In a show mixing Petty classics, Traveling Wilburys fan favorites, rock ‘n’ roll standards that inspired Petty and original music by Slate that was inspired by Petty and their friendship, this show will be a must-see event.
