In honor of John Lennon's 80th birthday, Jeff Slate & Friends -- Mark Bosch (guitar), Mark Plati (guitar, vocals), Johnny Pisano (bass, vocals) and Scott Campbell -- released a live video performance of The Beatles' classic "Revolution #1." Coincidentally, Sean Ono Lennon, who performed a version of his father's solo track "Isolation" on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Thursday, October 8th, put out a call to artists to cover his father's songs, and "Revolution #1" was almost immediately added to the #Lennon80 #GimmeSomeTruth playlist on the Official John Lennon YouTube Channel.
