Jeff Slate and John Doe To Appear At The Bob Dylan Center In Tulsa, Oklahoma

The Woody Guthrie Center and Bob Dylan Center will host an evening celebrating the release of “The Bootleg Series Vol. 14: More Blood, More Tracks”, a new compilation of Bob Dylan recordings made between September and December of 1974. The program is set for 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Woody Guthrie Center theater, 102 E. M.B. Brady St.

Join us for a discussion with songwriter and music journalist Jeff Slate, author of the liner notes in “More Blood, More Tracks”, and songwriter, actor and poet John Doe about the writing and recording of the songs that would become Dylan’s 1975 masterpiece “Blood On the Tracks”. Following the talk, which will include unseen footage from the Bob Dylan Archive, Jeff and John, best known from his work with the band X, will be performing together as a duo.
