Jeff Slate interviewed The Byrds' founder, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend Roger McGuinn live onstage at the headline event at the University of Tulsa's first World of Bob Dylan Conference, on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
The pair spoke for nearly 90-minutes onstage before a packed crowd in the ballroom of the Hyatt Regency in Tulsa, during which McGuinn recounted many amazing stories from his illustrious career, and his longtime relationship with Dylan, often breaking into song to illustrate his point.
McGuinn and Slate closed the night with a remarkable version of the Dylan classic "Knockin' On Heaven's Door."
